Target, it’s a place of retail happiness for so many women and they just gave us one more reason to love them! A photo of their breastfeeding policy posted to Breastfeeding Mama Talk has gone viral and it is simply fantastic.
Target tells their employees exactly how to deal with breastfeeding in their stores. A blurry photo of the policy explicitly states that Target supports breastfeeding in any area of their stores – even in fitting rooms if others are waiting! It goes on to emphasize that employees should NOT approach a breastfeeding mother and that if she approaches an employee for a place to breastfeed the employee should NOT offer the restroom as an option.
