Odile Penet

My name is Odile. I am a placenta encapsulation specialist, certified childbirth doula (DONA International), a post-partum doula (IFSI, France), a baby nurse and a certified Lamaze childbirth educator.

 

I have been serving families for the last 16 years and I have experience with prenatal, birth and postpartum care. I support natural, medicated, and VBAC births.  I trained and certified in France and in the United States.  In addition, I am certified in early childhood education and I hold my CPR certification (American Red Cross).

 

I utilize a supportive, non-judgmental and respectful approach to birth and parenting.

 

I have been working with  many families struggling with their post-partum recovery that I have decided to become a Placenta Encapsulation Specialist® after witnessing and learning about the benefits of placenta encapsulation.

 

On a personal note, I am the mother of two young adults.  I am a French native speaker and can provide my services in English and in French. I swim on a regular basis (great breathing technique work out!) and practice yoga.
