Originally my husband I are from California where we raised our  9 children, 7 were born at home. In 2012 we moved to southeastern Oklahoma and are grandparents of 16 currently. I've always wanted to do something in the birthing process, but never wanted to take too much time away from being a mom.

I did ingest the placenta of a few of my children who were born at home, the midwife actually blended it into a vegetable drink for me.  When I was helping a daughter after the birth of her 1st baby, I saw this flyer in a store for placenta encapsulation.  I was intrigued and decided to look into the PBi website. With all the children grown now, it appeared to be something I could do. I love the idea of this wonderful organ being a gift from baby to mother to assist in caring for her/him.
