2010 was a year of major changes at PBi. We upgraded our entire program, making it even easier to obtain training for professional placenta encapsulation services, as well as creating several membership options to help incoming Placenta Encapsulation Specialist®s with their business.
The Placenta Benefits.info website now gets several hundred thousands of hits every month, with the most popular page being our Provider Directory. Mothers are getting the word that the placenta should be used for postpartum recovery, and they are turning to PBi to find their Specialist! I could not be more pleased.
Our Provider Network has grown considerably, and PBi went international. We now have Specialists operating in Canada and South Korea, and undergoing training in the UK. I am excited to see this expansion continue in 2011, and working with government oversight in other countries to ensure that PBi Specialists can operate safely and within regulations outside the USA as well.
The biggest news for me personally is that I’ve spent most of 2010 gestating, and I am very eager to welcome my third baby into the world. 2011 will be amazing as I spend my time getting to know her. I guess this means I’m back on the play date circuit! Such an unexpected blessing; I can’t wait to learn the lessons this little one has in store for me.
