Bridgette Bowlin, serving Hanover, PA, is a mama to 5 children. In 2011, Bridgette welcomed her 4th child, a son, into the world via HBA3C (Home Birth After 3 Cesareans). Immediately after his birth, Bridgette had her placenta encapsulated. Having suffered from postpartum mood issues after her previous births, she felt confident placenta encapsulation would ease her transition to 4 children. After having positive results, Bridgette decided placenta encapsulation was something she should be offering to the mothers in her area. Bridgette also serves the families in her community as a birth doula and student midwife. Bridgette is an advocate for Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC) and supports women as the co-leader of her local ICAN chapter.
Welcome to PBi, Bridgette and thanks for all you do to help birthing mothers in your community!
