The PBi Network of Specialists would like to congratulate Traci Moren on recently becoming a PBi-certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialist®. Traci serves the women in the San Fransisco bay area. Until recently, Traci has been serving women as a birth doula, but recently chose the path of becoming a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner. She hopes to support women in their childbearing year with acupuncture and herbal medicine services.
” After working with midwives, acupuncturists and moms who sing the praises of placenta encapsulation, it seemed only natural to me to become a Placenta Encapsulation Specialist. I believe in a woman’s innate power to birth and to heal – sometimes we all just need a little guidance! Whether preparing a woman’s placenta, attending her in birth or guiding an art class or belly casting, I feel honored to be a part of this magical time. I have learned something amazing from every woman I have had the opportunity to support, and am grateful to be able to do this work.” -Traci Moren
Becoming certified takes time and commitment. To become certified, a placenta encapsulation specialist must complete the comprehensive training course through PBi, encapsulate 3 placentas using the PBi method, and complete a food safety course to meet state guidelines.
