PBi is happy to announce that Nicole Link-Troen is PBi’s Newest Certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialist® and Mentor!
Certification takes commitment and hard work. To become certified, a Placenta Encapsulation Specialist® must have completed scientific research and written response papers, acquired experience in placenta encapsulation services by preparing three placentas using PBi’s Method of Placenta Encapsulation, and completed additional food preparation safety certification to be in compliance with their state’s stringent health department protocols. Women in Richmond, VA as well as surrounding counties Hanover, Henrico, Chesterfeild, Midlothian, along with Charlottesville and Lynchburgareas now have someone who can safely prepare and assist them in placenta encapsulation, following all OSHA and State Health Regulations and safety rules.
Nicole’s personal experience with antepartum blues, the birth of her son and the encapsulation of her placenta has motivated her to become a PBi-Certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialist® and Mentor.
“After suffering from antepartum blues I was nervous about the postpartum ones and I am so glad that I choose to consume my placenta and have it encapsulated. I feel blessed by my experiences with birth and postpartum and I want to ‘pay it forward’ to the women in my community and I can think of no better way to do that than to enable and support them by making the benefits of their placenta available for an extended time.” ~ Nicole Link-Troen
Congratulations on your PBi Certification and Mentorship Nicole! We are so happy to have such a talented, committed, educated and passionate woman working with us!
