Congratulations to Tara Carpenter, serving Central Vermont and the Upper Valley, on earning her certification through PBi. Tara has worked hard, completed her training, and encapsulated the required number placentas in order to receive her certification. Tara also holds a food safety certification so that she is within the guidelines of her state to operate as a Certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialist®.
Tara’s journey helping new mothers started as a child. She was very active in helping neighbors with their newborns and was present at the home birth of both of her siblings. She knew all along, maternal care would be a part of her chosen path.
Tara’s qualifications are as diverse as they are interesting. In addition to her degree in Early Childhood Development, Tara is a certified birth and postpartum doula. She is also a Personal Therapeutic Chef, specializing in creating digestive wellness, and she is currently pursuing a certification as a Holistic Nutrition Consultant.
“Specializing in creating digestive wellness, I advocate bone marrow stocks, animal organs and other foods that promote healing in the body. So, it makes perfect sense to me for the mother to ingest such a vital organ, as the placenta itself, to be replenished after the arduous work of pregnancy and birth.” -Tara Carpenter, CPES
Congratulations Tara and thank you for all your hard work and dedication!
