 My name is Emily Kopp I live in Edgerton, WI. I am a state and nationally certified massage therapist and have been practicing massage since 2007. My interest in natural and alternative therapies first sparked at age 19 while working at a local health food co-op. My eyes were opened to a whole new way of living and my life would never be the same. I spent the next several years working in a naturopathic clinic performing physical medicine under the supervision of three amazing naturopathic doctors and increasing my knowledge of and passion for natural medicine. After completing my massage therapy training I was able to establish my massage business at the Naturopathic Family Clinic and that is where I remain today. Throughout the years I occasionally heard the doctors recommend placentophagy to their patients. My interest increased as I started to know more and more women who had done it and heard their remarkable stories. I was consistently hearing second and third time moms saying how much faster they were recovering from birth when compared to their previous births. These women raved about their positive experiences in using placenta for their recovery. I started thinking that if this could do so much good for these women then why don’t all women know about this. It is then that I realized my calling. If placenta can help moms feel better faster and avoid those baby blues that so many women experience then it can make a profound impact in their lives and in their families and that is something I want to facilitate.
I am so happy to be sharing the benefits of placenta with families and honored to take part in such a special time in their lives. I look forward to sharing this information with you and together, one woman at a time, we can change the way we think about our placentas and work together to create a peaceful, positive postpartum experience for all women.
